“Pushing your curiosity and looking for an emotion across the lines makes me happy. Having an idea and then having it in your hands is priceless. The alliance of these two worlds allows us to create objects that carry with them the image that we want to send back of ourselves. ”

Who are you and what is your background?

27 years old and passionate about design for a long time. This is what led me to study it for 3 years at the university, to continue subsequently the study of manufacturing.

Pushing your curiosity and looking for an emotion across the lines makes me happy. Having an idea and then having it in your hands is priceless. The alliance of these two worlds makes it possible to create objects which carry with them the image that we want to send back of ourselves. It is sometimes much more expressive than words …

One word to define the type of worker you are …

Curious!

What tools are essential to your life?

I would say that everything starts with a drawing and ends with a signature: the pencil without hesitation!

What does your workspace look like?

Very organized!

What do you listen to as music while working?

Machine noise is basically the noise I listen to (default), but during design, it depends on the state of mind I’m in. In the event of a conceptual crisis, Justin Hurwitz’s “Opening” remains number 1!

What generally inspires you?

Just about everything, a moment, an energy, a fork, a show, a discussion, an evening … It’s a click, just seize the moment and not ignore anything from our daily life: EVERYTHING is inspiration if nature is far ahead!

Where does your desire to work with wood come from?

Successfully transforming a tree into a delicate and refined object, nothing more magical, right ?!

What did the Montreal School of Cabinetmaking bring you?

In addition to her training, which without her, I would not have this level of knowledge, she taught me the requirement of self!

What are your upcoming projects?

Many ideas and wishes are in progress, even if I am the first master of what will happen, I will be the first surprise of what will happen, because all this is to come!
